Research team

On the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno in collaboration with colleagues from the Faculty of Science MU, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles Univerzity in Prague and the Faculty of Science at Charles Univerzity in Prague, we have been solving problems of competition in the rail services market in an economic, geographic and social terms. We are currently supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic with our project ”Optimization of regulation of competition in passenger and freight transport” No. TD010063. In 2008-2010,Grant Agency of the Czech Republic supported our project ”Competitiveness and competition in rail transport - possibilities and limits of economic policy” under number 402/08/1438. This projectcontinued the previous project from 2004-2006 ”Railway transport - institutional status, economic policy and economic theory”, also supported by the grant GACR, where we also worked with JosefKunc from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University and Tomas Pospisil,from headquarters of Czech Railways a.s.
